The final stop of the day: Hoover Dam. After going through the security checkpoint where the bus was boarded and inspected (thanks 9/11), we proceeded to get off the bus and walk up to the new O’Callaghan / Tillman Memorial Bridge that crosses over the Colorado River in front of the dam. While we would have liked to have been able to drive across the top of the dam, we will take this view too. Even Ranay and her fear of heights enjoyed this part of the trip and view of the dam – even though she never got right up against the railings to look – but she got within a foot. That’s big for her…..
